Q1. (a) You are organising a family picnic. Using the four steps of management list the actions you will take.

1. Planning : To organize a family picnic, first make a plan in which the date, place and budget will be decided.
2. Organizing : Gather essentials (food, sports equipment), travel arrangements and divide responsibilities.
3. Implementing : Give directions to all members and conduct activities.
4. Evaluating : Check all arrangements, the event is on time and everyone has a good time. 

Q2. (a) Your family member has suffered a burn injury while cooking. Describe the immediate steps you would take to provide first aid and prevent further complications.
Answer - If our family member suffers a burn injury while cooking, then by providing immediate first aid, further complications can be prevented in the following ways :
1. Immediately cool the burned area with cold water for at least 20 minutes. This reduces pain and reduces the risk of scarring.
2. Cover the burn with a sterile or clean, dry bandage, which helps protect the affected area from further injury and reduces the risk of infection.
3. Do not apply ice to the burnt area. Apply painkillers for pain and consult a doctor if the burn is severe to avoid further complications.
