Dear Diary,
I just got back from the most unforgettable trip of my college life! Our group of 30 students, along with our beloved professors Dr. Meera Sharma and Mr. Rajiv Kapoor, embarked on a thrilling journey to Nainital, the queen of hill stations.
The trip began with a bus ride filled with music, games, and endless chatter. My best friends Aarav, Priya, Neha, and Sameer kept the energy alive throughout the journey. By the time we reached, the cool mountain air welcomed us, instantly washing away the tiredness.
The first day was all about exploring Naini Lake. The sparkling green waters surrounded by towering hills felt straight out of a dream. We hired paddle boats, and Aarav tried to race everyone, making it hilariously chaotic. Afterward, we strolled along Mall Road, where Priya insisted we try the famous bun tikki, and she was absolutely right it was delicious!
The second day was a mix of adventure and serenity. We trekked to Tiffin Top, which offered a stunning panoramic view of the entire valley. Sameer, being the prankster he is, kept scaring us with tales of wild animals, though we all knew he was bluffing. Later in the evening, we visited the Eco Cave Gardens. Crawling through those narrow caves with flashlights was both thrilling and funny Neha got stuck for a moment and laughed it off like a champ.
Our last night in Nainital was magical. We gathered around a bonfire, singing songs and roasting marshmallows. Dr. Sharma shared stories from her own college days, and Mr. Kapoor amazed us with his guitar skills. We laughed, danced, and made promises to never let these moments fade away.
Now that I’m back, my heart feels heavy with the realization that such trips are rare, but I’m so grateful for the memories we made. Nainital wasn’t just a destination; it was an experience of friendship, nature, and joy.
Goodnight, Diary. I’ll dream of those mountains tonight.
